Dylan Learns About Diabetes is a story of support and understanding. This is the third book written for the Special Family and Friends™ series. Written by Kim Gosselin and illustrated by Tom Dineen.

Dylan is a child who experiences his uncle not feeling well and then is diagnosed with type 2 diabetes. Dylan also has a classmate who has type 1 diabetes. The story goes on to explain in children’s fashion the difference between the two types of diabetes. After learning about how diabetes works Dylan is more comfortable that both his uncle and his classmate will be just fine.
